  17. The console and the aux cable is the same, and comes in the zip-lock bag
  18. with DCE and DTE flavor modular to DB25 and just now also a modular
  19. to DB9 in DCE mode to connect to DTE/Terminal.

  21. Beware of random wiring diagrams you may see. cisco switch from a 
  22. staright through cable to a flipped modular cord and 'flipped' the adapters
  23. suitably at that time. I.E. there are 2 rather different cisco cons/aux
  24. cord kit styles floating around.

  26. There is detailed info on the philosophy of what was done as well as
  27. wiring diagrams and the recomended mods to an older adapter to make it
  28. behave like the newer ones (other that the cable flip issues) all on CIO.
